La
Petite Folie
A restaurant review by Sam Kaplan
La
Petite Folie is located in Hyde Park, Chicago near the
University of Chicago.
My first course was a goat cheese tart salad. It was ok. On
the plate there were greens and a goat cheese pie. The pie
was good but the greens were not very tasty.
My next
course was my main course. I got the lamb. It was very
good! The meat was flavorful and the crust was crunchy and
very good. Served with the meat were vegetables that looked
good but I didn’t eat because I’m just a kid.
The dessert was very good. Because it was a special, you
can’t get it every time. The dessert was three
flavors of ice cream stacked on top of each other. The
flavors were pear, guava, and cassis.
The atmosphere was very nice. The service was very good.
